That was delightful. You three had me rolling today while I was working.

Brad's always good value in the guest chair.
I dug Tenet, although I have to admit I was forewarned enough about the audio mix that I took it in (1) wearing noise-cancelling headphones and (2) with subs on. I probably would've been as pissed as everyone else if I'd seen it in Nolan's "intended" format.

It's weird how much more I like TENET than some of Nolan's other, objectively "better" movies like INCEPTION or INTERSTELLAR. It is such an un-Nolan-y movie in how it doesn't make any sense and feels quite unambitious thematically, but for all of that it is a more fun hang than even someting like DUNKIRK, which is a cinematic triumph in many ways. Except for the "making me want to watch it again" way.

I really need to watch TENET again. I really dug it the first time, but haven't seen it since.

I feel the same and I think it's because Tenet's his most light-hearted movie. It feels like Nolan actually had fun making it - something I got from none of his other movies. That and he's finally learned how to put a coherent action scene together.

I thought Thor: Love and Thunder was a disappointment. The humor and weirdness of Ragnarok was natural, however in Love and Thunder it felt forced.

Yeah, there are structural issus with the film, but probably nothing that is that much worse than what RAGNAROK works its way through. The big difference is just the jokes hitting vs. half of them falling flat.

Glad you chaps are digging some of what Love, Death + Robots is serving up. It's fun to have a collection like that where you can roll the dice on any ep in any order and if it's good it's good and if it isn't then it's probably all over in under 14 minutes anyway.
