I hate these limited run titles they have. While it makes a bit more sense with a Warner Bros. title like this, it drives me nuts when its a Corman title that Shout outright owns, therefore giving them no reason to limit it. They also overprice most of them. This one thankfully has extras (although not new ones), but it chaps my ass when they charge $25-30 for barebones limited releases.
Part of me wants this because of the new transfer, but I'm not sure if I should actually upgrade for that alone, since I do have the previous Blu.

I can't defend the "limited" practice... but I still bought it.

Yeah, I had to sit down and do a little soul-searching not to buy the Robocop 4K limited edition for my birthday. No shade on anyone who does, I just had to ask myself is the premium worth it for a poster I probably won't display, a book I probably won't read, and some postcards I don't care about, and the fact that it STILL was a tough call I think speaks to how insidious that collector's mentality can be.

I finally bit the bullet and signed up for a half-year subscription to Vinegar Syndrome, so I'll be getting all of their July thru November titles automatically (aside from VSA and partner label releases, although I'll get 50% on all of those that I decide to pick up). With what has already been revealed as being a part of that 5-month lineup, I felt safe in finally doing it. So fingers crossed!

Bought and watched the 4K for 1992's A FEW GOOD MEN last night. Thus far, a couple of months into owning a fully 4K system (TV, player, receiver), I haven't been wowed by the difference between blu-ray and 4K discs. But I did notice a difference during the trial sequence in A FEW GOOD MEN, notably the climactic exchange between Cruise and Nicholson. Detail and definition were through the roof, and gave the scene added oomph and immediacy.

What type of 4K set do you have? Most modern shot on digital releases typically have a resolution ceiling of 2k. HDR becomes more of a noticeable boost.
Film based sources or modern 4K DI sources will show the biggest improvements, having said that, for home viewing below a certain screen size, 4K has crossed the line of diminishing returns.

TV is an LG OLED 65". Receiver is the Sony STR-DH790. Player is the Sony UBP-X800M2. Streaming box is the Roku Ultra, which is 4K capable.
And yes, I'm using the correct HDMI cables to connect everything!

As far as 4K discs, I've watched Infinity War, Endgame, Casino Royale, Skyfall, A Few Good Men, The Dark Knight Rises, Godzilla (2014), The Mask of Zorro (1998).
I've watched some streaming content as well, but I don't think much of that has been UHD/4K.

Yep, I'm seeing your issue. Disney/MCU titles as a whole aren't that great (video wise), and Casino Royale and Skyfall surprisingly aren't big upgrades. Sony, Warner, and Paramount film based discs are consistently the best out there.
What titles are you interested in?

All of them?
I own but have not yet watched No Time To Die on 4K. Word is that disc is AMAZING.
I'm mostly interested in replacing/upgrading from my blu collection, so I'm doing that one or two discs at a time.
Right now, I have Arrival, Creed, Godzilla vs Kong, and No Time To Die on 4K disc unwatched.
I'll very likely be purchasing Top Gun Maverick on 4K, with some pretty high expectations in terms of presentation quality.

No Time to Die is indeed stunning. Arrival is very good, but the dimmer cinematography holds it back.
If the IMAX footage is anything to go by, Top Gun Maverick will be the demo disc of the year, and probably the next two years as well.
If you're a fan and you've been frustrated at how it's looked on other formats, the 4K of 'Predator' is a must have.

Michael Mann's HEAT allegedly getting a 4K release on August 9 of this year. Can't find any place offering actual preordering yet, though.
I own the DC on blu (the 20th anniversary edition) which looks damn good. Gonna wait to see how the reviews are for this one before buying.
